A Message from Rich
Dear friends,
On behalf of Ted Peterson, the RSMGC Board of Directors, our
volunteers and our presenting sponsor associations, I’d
like to formally invite you to participate in the 14th annual
Randy Smith Memorial Golf Classic.
This year’s event will be held at the beautiful Chateau
Élan Winery and Resort in Braselton GA, located in the
northern Atlanta suburbs, on Friday October 24th, 2008.
Chateau Elan has played host to two previous Randy Smith
Memorial Golf Classics, the most recent being our 10th
anniversary in 2004. It also affords us the luxury
of 36 golf holes so that we can accommodate even more golfers
then we have at past golf venues. We also encourage you to take
full advantage of the amenities Chateau Elan has to

It is with mixed emotions that we announce our yearly
event. Like Randy Smith and all of our previous
recipients, this year’s families are in need our of
emotion support and financial generosity. A full list of
these families will be published shortly on a dedicated a
section of our website.
As always, it is with sincere appreciation and gratitude to
each and every one of you that have contributed in the past to
the Randy Smith Memorial Golf Classic. If you
are a first time participant, we welcome you with welcome
arms. We encourage you to freely experience what
our returning sponsors, participants and volunteers all ready
know. The RSMGC is an opportunity to be part of a
loving, caring, supportive community of family and friends that
have proven to always be there for those in need.
